This appliance was developed here at Chrome Works Inc. It essentially replaces the old style metal gate with a thin band of flexible resin gently cupping the buccal-gingival areas of each abutment tooth. This allows for a very resilient (stress relieving) frame with substantial retention. For weak teeth, this is a huge improvement over metal gates. The simplicity of this appliance not only eliminates the long term problems with gates loosening , but improves patient comfort enormously. Made in any shade, tissue or tooth color, the aesthetic benefit of this restoration is obvious.
